Former DP candidate in the May 11 elections, Tedi Kopliku, has reacted on the show "Quo Vadis" after allegations that in the coffee between him, Ervin Salianji, Ilir Alimehmet and some of the most voted figures in the primary, there was a plan to start an uprising within the DP.
Koplik said that everything was just a rumor and that there is nothing true in what was written.
According to him, if there was even a shred of truth, he would have resigned earlier.
"The media is presenting as a movement something that neither was, nor was articulated by anyone as such. It was simply a coffee among Democrats."
If I were to become part of a movement, I would give up the duties I took on very recently. Since that moment, nothing has happened to make me reconsider my position.
If I had decided or even suspected that I should become part of a movement, I would have consulted with those people who voted for me.
"I am convinced that this is a media production and not someone from the meeting, because the idea of a movement or factionalism was not articulated at any point," said Kopliku.
