Fredi Beleri, candidate for MEP of Greece on the list of the "New Democracy" party, was not voted at all in the polls.
Journalist Artur Bibe said that the members of the party of the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, have admitted that Beler's inclusion in the list of candidates for MEPs was done with the aim of obtaining the votes of the extreme right in Greece.
"The political part has been transferred to Athens where it has become part of a brutal arena between left and right forces. The "New Democracy" force seems to be scoring an own goal where its MPs, in an attempt to protect Beler, revealed by targeting him that his inclusion in the list of candidates for MEPs was done to collect the votes of the extreme right Greek. "New Democracy also used it in the parliamentary elections a year ago," said Bibe.
Among other things, he said that in the survey published on the candidates for MEPs, at the top of the list is a journalist followed by Pirro Dhima. As for Beleri, Bibe emphasized that there is a drop in support as a candidate for MEP.
"Beleri has dropped in the poll. We have a first survey regarding the New Democracy list. At the top of this list is a journalist who received 41% of New Democracy votes. Followed by Pirro Dhima with 27% of the votes, who came out openly and showed how he was bullied in Greece as an Albanian, but said despite the fact that he is not Albanian, he has brothers here and grew up with them", added the journalist for Top Channel.
