While fires have been caused in many cities, an unstable weather has been noted in Elbasan.
After 16:00 the weather suddenly changed and the rains covered a large part of the territory of Elbasan.
A light rain has fallen in the city, extreme weather has prevailed in the area of Shpati accompanied by a heavy rainstorm and hail, the size of the grains of which has been extremely large and unusual, since in some areas according to the residents of the village of Gjinar a hailstone was the size of a golf ball.
According to them, the terrible storm lasted about 2 hours and caused great damage to crops and orchards, causing great losses to the farmers of the Gjinar Administrative Unit in the Municipality of Elbasan.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense announced that after the continuous work of the forces on the ground and from the air, there is an improvement in the fire situation in the village of Grapsh in the municipality of Dropull and in the village of Kardhikaq in the municipality of Finiq, no longer presenting a danger to residents and homes of villages.
