In the session held today for the elected mayor of Himara, the Court accepted the request of the Prosecution that Arsen Rama's testimony be held behind closed doors.
The Special Prosecutor's Office declares that Arsen Rama, the person who reported to the prosecutor's office about the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, and who has already become an associate of the prosecutor's office, has been threatened with his life. Not only that. The SPAK prosecutor, Dorina Bejko, stated that the witness and his family members were threatened during this period, and even Arsen Rama's vehicle was damaged.
Today, 2 hearings were held for the elected mayor of Himara Fredi Beleri. One of the sessions is being held at GJKKO where the witnesses of the accusation between them and Arsen Rama will be interrogated. At the request of SPAK GJKKO decided that the session will take place behind closed doors.
We remind you that it was Arsen Rama who denounced the purchase of 8 votes with 40 thousand ALL by Fredi Beleri. Other residents were also called to the session and will testify if they were contacted by members of the electoral staff of Beler to vote for the latter in the May 14 elections, in exchange for monetary amounts.
Meanwhile, the Court dismissed Fredi Bejler's two requests for the dismissal of Irena Gjoka from the jury as well as the request for the dismissal of the entire jury. According to the judge, both requests are unfounded.
