The former Autotraktor Plant in the Shkoza area of Tirana is expected to be turned into a weapons and ammunition factory.

But according to journalist Klodiana Lala, this risks a second Gërdec, as the factory is located in a residential area very close to Tirana.

The state-owned company KAYO is expected to build a weapons production factory 3.5 km from the heart of Tirana, in a populated area.
