Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has shown how the Russian agencies, which according to him are oligarchs and businessmen through Athens, are trying to enter the Municipality of Himara to invest and recruit influential people in the country. That's why Spahiu says, Himara is the key to this entire conflict in Albania-Greece.
Invited to the show "Albania" by Rudina Xhunga on "DritareTV", he said that Himara is more dangerous than Manastir to undermine Albania's stability due to its geographical position.
Kreshnik Spahiu: Himara is the pearl, heart, brain, beauty, everything related to values. Even if we take it as land value, in money it is the highest value of the coast in Albania. The surrender of Himara is heavier than the 6 miles of the sea agreement that Berisha made with Athens 13 years ago.
Both arrests, whether of Fredi Beleri or of Goro, have the support of Western services, of projects that support Albanian justice, which have not been able to be tempted and not eat the strong and diplomatic pressure of Athens, neither the opposition, nor the Rama government . It is Rama, it is the opposition, it is Greece against the arrest of Fredi Beleri and Goros. And only the USA and the West want them to be arrested for being corrupt and endangering stability in Albania. Don't think it's a coincidence.
There are no coincidences in law and politics. For those who fail to understand, it is not about simple building permits. This is about whether Himara will be controlled by the West or the East, whether it will be controlled by Tirana, or Athens, Moscow or Washington. To those Albanians who do not know how agencies work, I would say that it has nothing to do with the physiognomy of movies or telenovelas. The foreign agencies, in the century we live in, are big-hearted businessmen, oligarchs that Russia in 90% of its espionage in the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Europe has operated through oligarchs, those who buy football teams, who buy big businesses, through those who buy ports, railways, airports, enter every tender, privatize the coast, build luxury hotels with 5 stars. They are the secret services of Russia.
Russian services have entered everywhere, in Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, yes. In Albania, it is not that they have not entered, that they have captured many opposition leaders, but they should have entered into investments at the moment when they have been blocked by the USA, by the West, by this NATO partner. At a time when the NATO base was opened in Albania, they had to enter through investments and the only possibility was through Athens to control the entire Municipality of Himara and the Albanian Riviera to invest in the south of Albania and to have the economic bases where their people operate economically and by acting economically they are able to recruit as many internal recruits, influential people in Albania, media, politicians, or different leaders who can be influencers in decision-making in Albania. Therefore, Himara is the key to this entire conflict in Albania.
