Investigations have been launched for about 30 cases...
The Special Prosecution Office has in its hands nearly 70 reports of electoral crimes. Although there were warnings and a great commitment from SPAK, CEC and district prosecutors, so far we have not seen any sensational crackdowns regarding electoral crimes.
Prosecutors are distributed in all 12 regions of the country and are conducting monitoring, surveillance and field observations. The signals are that the strikes will come after the elections. So at a time when the result will not change, regardless of what SPAK may do.
Currently, prosecutors have 70 lawsuits. Of these, 24 are on the online platform, 20 cases are police referrals. It is learned that in 7 cases SPAK has initiated investigations mainly based on denunciations in the media, but also on field observations. Meanwhile, the rest are lawsuits filed by political parties themselves. It is learned that investigations have been initiated for about 30 cases.
According to sources, of the denunciations so far, most are for the SP and the DP. There are also many denunciations for Tom Doshi's PSD.
In the SPAK strategy made public, which includes sending 20 prosecutors, 60 BKH investigators and 20 financial investigators to 12 districts, it is mentioned that not only reports and allegations will be verified, but also the possibility of using the administration and public infrastructure during the May 11 election campaign.
In this monitoring, SPAK says that it considers as partners, in addition to the State Police, the State Intelligence Service and the Financial Intelligence Agency. The latter not only because of informality and the circulation of cash, but also for suspicious transactions and the tracking of funds coming from abroad. The other focus is the impact of organized crime not only through vote buying, pressure on voters but also illegal financing of candidates. /Pamphlet
