Commenting on the race for the head of the police, analyst Arjan Curri has stated that the socialists need a new police director for the 2025 elections.
According to Curri, the new director of the State Police will be the default.

Curi pointed out that the Minister of the Interior himself is not a politician and asking that the new director of the State Police be young means that he has hit the old generation.
He further emphasized that the new head of the State Police will be used for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
" The minister, for example, is a technical-tactician who is not political. He said that the director should be of a new generation.
So why not be of an older generation. It worries me when he is young because the new director general of the police must be a man with a lot of experience.
