Changes at the local level in the State Police.
Today, several changes were made in the State Police, where the director of the Lezha Police and the heads of the police stations in Dibër and Kamëz were dismissed from their duties.
This decision came after a performance evaluation conducted by the Directorate of Professional Standards at the DPPSH, a process which will continue for all local directorates.
The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, signed this afternoon the dismissal from duty of the Director of the Lezha Local Directorate, Director Altin Mena, and the Deputy Director for Order, Chief Commissioner Taulant Gjoka, with the motivation for poor performance.
Meanwhile, the Director General has assigned the position of Director of the Lezha DVP, Deputy Director for Criminal Investigation, to the DVP, headed by Kujtim Gjoka.
With the same motivation, the Chief of the Dibër Police Station, Mariglen Duçi, and the Chief of the Kamëz Police Station, Besmir Dervishi, were dismissed from their duties.
