The deputy of the Socialist Party, Xhemal Qefalia, says that technology has a key role in a war situation, but it should be the military troops that put it to use.
Speaking about Blinken's expected visit to Tirana, the MP said that this visit shows the appreciation of the USA for our country.
Qefalia says that the effectives should be trained, focusing on the armed forces.
"We have the experience of the war that happened between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. There we saw that technology has a primary role, but if people do not know how to use it, or avoid it, it is not effective, there are no living human beings to use it. We have seen that those satellites that were used went out of order.
It is the people who need to be treated, and for this the Albanian government has taken measures to increase the salaries of the administration, but to focus on the armed forces. This makes a beacon of sensibility even among people who aspire to be a part of the armed forces. There is an increase in demands, but it is not that there has been a very large increase. Being treated with salary, uniform, and special treatment, the interest will be much greater.
Blinken is a visit for the importance that the USA attaches to Albania. It comes for issues of national security, but choosing Albania is an assessment of our country", said Qefalia in Euronews.
