The journalist, Blendi Fevziu, commenting on the situation in which the opposition is located, stated that the DP has remained at the level of the developments of the 90s.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Fevziu said that Berisha gathers supporters under the window, with the hope that there may be a scenario like in 1997, when he was left with few supporters, but managed to return to power.
He said that Berisha has no other alternative, while he considered his arrest exaggerated.
" Berisha is trying to restore the scenario of 1997, when there was a small group of people and he came to power again. The solution would be to open a full competition within the DP for a new leader within the DP.
I said that Berisha should remain honorary president, because that party supports Berisha at its base, but it has remained at the level of the developments of the 90s. There are no people around either, it makes it difficult for the party to win the elections.
That party needed a new leader, no more than 40 years old, to be a bridge between the new and old generation. This idea of anti-communism does not give you anything today. Does the future have other emergencies ," said Fevziu.
