"First you have to buy all the stairs", Andi Tela shows how the

Journalist Andi Tela has stated that the way of doing corruption in Albania has changed in recent years.

Tela made the comments in "Barometer" on Euronews Albania, where he said that if before you had to bribe all the levels a little to get a service, now it is enough to have contact with the top managers and pay them the amount they want for achieve this.

" People, businessmen, merchants, don't talk about the corruption of 50,000 lek in doctors, policemen, certifiers, etc., but we talk about what is ruining our jobs for all of us, corruption at high levels of government.

If before you had to pay every link of the system to receive the service, i.e. 5 ALL to the guard, 10 ALL to the specialist, etc., now it has changed, you can pay the amount directly to the authority and get what you want.

This probably keeps that idea of corruption high. Corruption is everywhere because it is up there. No matter how much corruption is fought at the lower levels, you will directly have contact with the upper part. So in the DP government you have to pay every level, here you end up working directly with those above ", said Tela.
