In the afternoon of this Sunday, Tirana was engulfed by heavy rain accompanied by storms, which also brought traffic difficulties on some roads.
Some of the main streets of the capital, such as Rruga e Barricadave, Rruga e Elbasani and '9 katashete', have been flooded, making it difficult for vehicles and people to move around.
Storms appear from time to time in some areas of the capital, causing the impossibility of movement due to the large amount of massive rainfall that falls in a short time.
The change in weather comes after high temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius. Rainstorms are present throughout the country, they have been more powerful in the north and center of the country, but even the coastal areas have not been spared without rain.
Because of the cloudy weather, vacationers have also left the beaches of Vlora. This has brought even more traffic in the movement of vehicles.
The rain did not last more than 1 hour and then the weather conditions improved.
While in the Municipality of Maliqi, it was reported about a massive landslide in the village of Dushar in the Administrative Unit of Moglica.
The landslide seriously endangers the bridge of the main road of this village, thus blocking the movement of the residents for two days. According to forecasters, the beginning of the week will also be unstable, while temperatures will drop by about 5 degrees Celsius.
