Unstable weather returns to the country. A large part of the territory will be engulfed by storms and heavy rain. There will also be no shortage of electric discharges, or as we call them in everyday language, lightning.
The rain is expected to start shortly before midnight and will continue in certain areas until tomorrow afternoon, while numerous electrical discharges are expected.
Heavy rain is expected in Shkodër and Lezhë, tonight starting from 22:00
Air masses coming from the north-west will discharge significant amounts of rain first in the area of Shkodra and Lezha and then descend in other parts of the country, with a focus on the northern part of the Western Lowlands.
Heavy rain during the afternoon tomorrow in Durrës, Laç, Mamurra and the northern and western areas of Tirana
Heavy rains are predicted during the night as well as tomorrow morning, while regional meteorological stations have issued a "red alert" regarding these developments on the weather in Albania as there is a high risk of flooding, especially in Shkodër and Lezhë.
