Journalist Ornela Joti has revealed details regarding the health condition of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano. She states that Fatos Nano suffered cardio-respiratory arrest in his home, but the immediate intervention of doctors made it possible for him to return to life.
"He has been in a critical condition for 11 days. Former Prime Minister Nano is in intensive care, in a private hospital in the capital. He suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest in the premises of his home, but the immediate intervention of doctors has made it possible for him to return to life. Doctors confirm that he has suffered severe brain damage and are gradually trying during his stay in intensive care to gradually wake him up," Joti told "A2 CNN".
For the past two years, former Prime Minister Nano has had frequent medical check-ups at a private hospital in Tirana. He was previously intubated due to a chronic lung disease that doctors call spok.
After rehabilitation, Nano returned home but again had a health problem, undergoing orthopedic surgery due to a fracture of one of his pelvic bones.
