New details have come to light regarding the case where an officer was suspended from duty after hitting a female citizen.
Dritan Toska, an officer of the General Patrol at the Berat Police Station, who has already been suspended from duty, shot his neighbor with the palm of his hand for a dividing fence.
The former officer, residing in Kuçovo, was involved in an initially verbal conflict with his neighbors and the cause was a "separating fence" between the two families.
The conflict started with cursing and insults, and then the officer shot his neighbor with the palm of his hand, who claims that at one point he wanted to pull out his gun. Even though officer Dritan Toska was not on duty when the conflict occurred, with his involvement in the conflict as well as with the beating of the woman who denounced him, he has seriously broken the Code of Ethics of the State Police.
The investigative materials in Toska's charge regarding the incident have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Berat Judicial District.
