The weekend has created traffic and queues at border points in the country.
In Durrës, it is reported that 3409 passengers and 1200 vehicles have arrived at the port so far. This figure is expected to reach 6,000 passengers.
The high flow of tourists and Albanian citizens returning to their homeland for vacations has caused traffic and congestion in some segments in the streets of Durrës.
Even in Kakavija, there are reports of an increased flow. The queue of 5 km is caused in the Greek part at the exit of the territory, since the Greek side is working with only one counter.
Meanwhile, hundreds of travelers and vehicles with license plates from Kosovo, but also from countries in the region, have spent this Saturday morning at the border point of Morina, causing kilometers long queues of vehicles.
The cause is the large flow that has been created at the Kukës Bridge, a narrow place for changing vehicles. Queues reached up to 10 kilometers.
