The European Union has cut off 146 million euros of IPARD 3 grants in aid of Albanian agriculture due to suspicions of corruption.
This situation has alarmed the local authorities who have started an in-depth investigation into the distribution of funds. The abuse of EU funds turns out to be suspected to be "scary", while the AZHBR found 98 subjects in violation and demanded the return of total or partial sums.
73 beneficiary entities have agreed to return the funds received, while another 25 do not agree to return a single penny.
This is the list of entities that refuse to return funds:

"Ora News" has contacted some of them, where it addressed a request for information to the entity 'Coast to Coast LLC' with administrator Xheni Gjikuria, the entity 'Dimal Castle' with administrator Jorgo Vasili and 'Lorag LLC' with administrator Lorenc Agolli.
None of the subjects answered where the funds received from the European Union ended up and why they refuse to return them.
According to AZHBR, the entities that were found in violation benefited in total of 281,716,729.00 ALL, meanwhile, 73 entities voluntarily returned half of this amount.
There are 25 entities that refuse to return ALL 148,109,678.00.
The Ministry of Agriculture has let go when it comes to publicity, since 100 million Lek was given to the entity 'Le Spot Production' for the IPARD 2 information campaign alone, while farmers on the edge of survival only look at the advertisements that the EU provides funds for Albania.
According to AZHBR, there are 280 billion lek profited in violation of the contract, but it is not yet known if this figure corresponds to the finding of the European authority that conducted the investigation, or if the abuse is greater than that.
What is officially known is that SPAK has launched investigations into the abuse of EU funds.
