His Grace Joan Pelushi has been elected Archbishop of the Orthodox Church of Albania. In his speech after the election, he expressed his determination to defend the rights of the Church.
Monsignor Joan Pelushi emphasized that he will diligently carry out his high duty and will strive with all his strength to protect the interests of the Church.
His Grace John also prayed that Jesus Christ would give him strength and wisdom to fulfill his holy mission. He concluded his speech by personally signing this pledge to fulfill his duties.
"I accept this high service. I will fulfill my duty with precision. I will try with all my strength to protect the rights of the Church. I pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to give us strength and wisdom to fulfill this holy mission of his. With my own hand, I sign this pledge," said the new Archbishop.
