Our country has been hit by heavy rain today, while unstable weather conditions will continue in the coming days.
Anira Gjoni from the Institute of Geosciences said that precipitation will be present during the weekend and next week.
"Rain and snow will continue today and tomorrow. We will have them during the weekend and next week," Gjoni told "Report TV".
According to it, locally intense precipitation is expected in the districts of Shkodër, Lezhë, Tirana, Durrës and Elbasan, while moderate precipitation will be in the districts of Shkodër, Vlorë and Lezhë. In the rest of the country, precipitation will be light. For the northern and eastern areas, snowfall will occur at altitudes above 1,000 meters above sea level.
For tomorrow, temperatures are forecast as follows:
– in coastal areas from 9 to 15 degrees Celsius;
– in low-lying areas from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius;
– in mountainous areas from 2 to 9 degrees Celsius.
"Tomorrow's precipitation will be in the form of thunderstorms, while the wind will blow strongly in coastal and mountainous areas. A temporary cessation of precipitation is expected on Sunday, but on Monday they will return again ," the meteorology said.
John emphasized that Saturday will mark a slight increase in temperatures, by about two degrees Celsius.
