The heavy rainfall that has affected the southern region in recent hours has caused problems in vehicle traffic on the Kardhiq-Delvinë road axis, near the Skërfica tunnel.
According to reports from drivers, in some segments of the road there have been falls of rocks, mud and inert materials, making movement dangerous, especially on the curves near the tunnel entrance.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far, but the risk remains high if the rainfall continues at the same intensity.
Saranda's traffic services are on the ground monitoring the situation while advising drivers to exercise caution, mainly on this road axis.
