The Durrës Port Authority has announced changes to ferry sailings from Durrës to Bari and vice versa, due to adverse weather conditions during the evening of January 4th.
According to the official announcement, one of the two ferries scheduled to depart for Bari failed to sail due to bad weather.
The Port Authority has also announced the current situation of ferry movement for today.
As for the ferry "GNV Cristal", it moved from piers 7 and 8 at 07:05 and docked at the Ferry Terminal at 07:20, with a scheduled departure at 23:00.
"The Durrës Port Authority informs that, due to adverse weather conditions during the evening of January 4, 2026, one of the two ferries scheduled to sail to Bari failed to depart.
Travelers affected by this situation have been assisted by the relevant companies, which have taken measures to reroute them on subsequent departures.
The current ferry movement situation for today is as follows:
"The Durrës Port Authority continues to closely monitor the meteorological situation and the movement of maritime vehicles, in close cooperation with shipping companies and responsible authorities, in order to guarantee the safety and smooth running of port operations," the announcement states.
