The heavy rains that started since Wednesday evening have created problems in Lezha.
The most problematic situation was presented in the city, as the underground sewers could not cope with the flow level and the water came to the surface.
In the January 11 residential block in the "Besëlidhja" neighborhood, streets and sidewalks were flooded, as the water level reached up to 30 cm, blocking the entrances to the buildings. This situation creates difficulties in the movement of vehicles and citizens, while the enterprise of public services in the Municipality of Lezhë came out on the ground in unblocking the pesetas in order to escape the waters as quickly as possible.
Bad weather with rainstorms also caused problems with electricity supply. Most of the villages were in darkness during the night, while work is being done to repair the faults and restore power to areas where it is currently missing.
