A boom in luxury car thefts has occurred in Tirana during the last few days where several vehicles of the latest models have been stolen.
Specifically, 3 days ago, two Range Rovers were stolen, in different areas of the capital.
It is suspected that these tools would be used by criminal groups for serious crimes.
The Blues of Tirana have found the last two cars that were stolen, one in Fushë Krujë and the other in Thumanë.
Cars were parked on the street. Investigators have yet to identify the perpetrators.
It is suspected that they are professionals and have contacts with criminal gangs based in the area of Fushë Krujë and Kurbin.
Regarding this phenomenon, the director of the Tirana Police, Tonim Vocaj, held an urgent meeting with the subordinates until 03:30 in the morning, where they analyzed the evidence related to the recent robberies.
