Due to the deterioration of atmospheric conditions, as well as the significant increase in road traffic on all national road axes, the Road Police appeals for more caution when driving vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles, especially with distinctive signs at night, but also during movement as pedestrians crossing from one side of the road to the other, as the risk of being involved in road accidents is high.
This is due to the humidity on the road, the fall of stones and inerts from the rain, as well as as a result of the violations of the traffic rules, which mainly come as a result of a lack of patience in heavy traffic conditions.
For this reason, Traffic Police structures throughout the country are present with increased human resources and technological equipment, not only to regulate traffic, but also to prevent, detect and punish violators of traffic rules, who are a source the risk of involvement in road accidents.
