The month of February is mainly predicted by dry weather and relatively warm temperatures. According to meteorologist Lajda Porja, there will be no rain for the first 10 days.
"February has started with stable weather, it will be stable weather at least for the first 10 days, there are no signs of precipitation. These clouds and clouds that we see now will gradually leave, in the afternoon it will be sunny, there will be cloudy in the second part of the day. No rain today, it's 18 degrees, let's say 3-4 degrees above. Even tomorrow, at least the weekend, and today there is a slight increase, the mornings will also change. So we have an increase in the minimum values in the mountainous areas, the lowest is 0 or -1 extreme, let's say Bajram Curri, then the entire mountainous area, Kukësi, Peshkopia, all areas will be 2-3 degrees.
One of the factors that affects the feeling that it is colder or warmer than the real temperatures are, is humidity. Tirana is one of the cities with more humidity and the morning feels colder. As for the snowfall, they are expected in the second part of the month and mainly in the mountainous areas. The first weekend of the month will be in high temperatures along the coastline.
There are signals in the second part of February for snowfall in the mountainous areas, in small quantities, let's say, but we expect that February will also be similar to the typical February, in terms of climate, which does not have much precipitation, if compared to December and January it is much drier. As for the temperatures, it started with higher temperatures, it is expected that the first part will be, on Sunday, it will be 20 degrees ," said Porja for TV Klan.
"20 degrees this Sunday on the low coastlines, Vlora, Saranda, 19 Fieri, Lushnja, 18 Tirana, Durrësi, 18-19 degrees, so very high temperatures throughout this weekend.
For those who want to enjoy the snow, they can find it on the mountain of Korabi, Tomorri and in Razma. The next week starts again with high temperatures and passing rain at the end of it. Porja adds that there will be another episode with the polar cold ," the meteorologist added.
According to Lajda, we will experience the cold in the second part of February, which will last no more than three or four days, where the temperatures can go again, in the mountainous areas, I emphasize, -5 degrees or -6. So we will experience a polar cold in February as well.
She adds that, the winter will last, she will get 'debt' from spring until March 20. So it is not surprising that we see snow in March.
