The Special Prosecution of Anticorruption and Organized Crime has sent for trial 23 people returned from Syria and others, about whose fate nothing is known yet, on the charge of participation in a terrorist organization.
In the file provided by the journalist, Anila Hoxha, the reasons why these people traveled to Syria and joined the ISIS war are revealed, including family members, children, friends and acquaintances in this decision. From the file available to Top Channel, it is clear that information about recruitment and fleeing to Syria was mainly obtained from the mosques that these people frequented.
Generally, the first to go to Syria were the men, who were then joined by their wives and children. The men's job was to fight, while the women's job was to serve the male fighters, add to the organization's population, and indoctrinate and educate children with the organization's ideology.
In the investigative file, the defendant Brunilda Koçollari, shows that during her stay in Raka, every woman had a gun in the premises where they lived for any emergency that might arise as it was a turbulent time and anything could happen. She explains that she herself had a shotgun, which her husband forced her to use.
Brunilda Koçollari's husband, Artur Koçollari, was killed in the war with ISIS, and Brunilda says that she was paid 800 US dollars for her husband's death. After her husband's death, she thought of leaving and returning to Albania, but she stayed in Syria and married another ISIS fighter.
Meanwhile, another defendant, Etion Zani, traveled to Syria by responding to the call of the terrorist organization ISIS, against payment. In addition to participating, Zani is also involved in combat operations, being a fighter of the ISIS organization. His wife Klotilda Zani traveled with her husband to Syria and joined the ISIS terrorist organization by accepting payments from this organization and agreeing to stay in the organization and serve her husband.
According to the testimonies of family members, specifically Etion Zani's brother-in-law, from the communications that Florian Cami had with his sister Klotilda from Syria, he had learned that the couple was well settled after the Islamic State had given them a home. Clotilda says that she took care of the children and served her husband, who was a fighter of the Islamic State ISIS in both Syria and Iraq, and that she was regularly paid for the services that her husband Etion Zani did.
Etion had traveled to Syria together with his brother Arbër Zani and according to the evidence the two brothers had left for the land of Sham which included Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Palestine. Both were practitioners of the Islamic religion at the Ring Mosque. Etion had taken the religious name of Abu Musab in Syria.
Another defendant, Erdet Korro, left for Syria, telling his mother that he would go there for religious studies. The day he left home, he told his mother to give me her blessing that I will go to Syria. From the brother's testimony, it is learned that his mother told him: " If he goes to Syria for religious studies, I will give him my blessing; if he goes to Syria for bad work, I will not give him my blessing ."
According to his brother's account, Erdet had finished the army in Zall Herr. After the army, he became a livestock farmer and started attending the mosque in Këlcyra at this time. After a while, he grew a beard and began to follow religious rites. For more than a year, he lived in Tirana in the house of his aunt's daughter, who took Arabic language courses and was a believer. In Tirana, he worked as a caretaker of the "Dine Hoxha" mosque.
" When he came to Këlcyre, his brother says, he used to distribute religious books. In one of his visits from Tirana to Këlcyra, he argued with his father, as he had ordered him to bring him wine from Tirana, but Erdeti had not brought it to him because his religion did not allow it, his brother confesses .
After leaving for Syria, Erdeti communicated with his sister who lives in Greece and told her that he was married there and had children. The sister communicated with him on social networks on Facebook where he was active for some time. Since 2018, the sister has not communicated with him.

Saimiri shkonte në punë dhe vinte, por nuk tregonte se çfarë bënte, Enes Kaca rrinte në shtëpi, ndërsa Zejdi Kaca ka qenë në luftë dhe është vrarë në luftimet në Tapka, sipas saj.
Nga provat e Prokurorisë, provohet se Shyqyri, Saimir, Enes Kaca kanë udhëtuar në Siri për t’iu bashkuar organizatës terroriste ISIS, në këmbim të pagesës. Ata janë përfshirë në veprime luftarake, duke qenë luftëtarë të ISIS, punë për të cilën paguheshin. Si rrjedhojë, ndaj tyre rëndojnë akuzat “pjesëmarrje në organizatë terroriste” dhe “pjesëmarrja në veprime luftarake në një shtet të huaj”.
Ndërsa Lavdie Kaca, që ka shkuar t’i shërbejë bashkëshortit dhe djemve që luftonin për ISIS, ka pranuar se me dashje me vullnetin e saj të lirë ka pranuar të jetë pjesë e kësaj organizate. Ajo akuzohet për kryerjen e veprës penale “pjesëmarrje në organizate terroriste”.
