One of the most prominent moments of the 14th consecutive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was the unfurling of a giant banner by protesters from the Albanian diaspora, presenting six main demands addressed to the government and international factors.
Among the participants was a protester from Italy, who expressed his support for what he described as a civic revolt and publicly presented the demands of the Albanian diaspora.
The banner placed in front of the Prime Minister's Office listed six main points:
-immediate resignation of the government,
-imprisonment and confiscation of assets for the responsible officials,
-amendment of the Electoral Code,
-the creation of a technical government,
-the beginning of a new democratic process
-international monitoring and audit.
The banner attracted the attention of protesters and passersby, while images of it were widely shared on social media during the rally.
During his speech, the diaspora protester also touched on the role of artists, criticizing them for their lack of support for the protest. He stated that citizens have supported artists over the years through their concerts and activities, while accusing them of staying away from public reaction at a time that, according to him, requires civic engagement.
The unveiling of the diaspora platform was accompanied by applause and cheers from the participants, while the organizers considered it a summary of the main demands that have been articulated for weeks in the protests held in Tirana.
