Analyzing the murder of officer Nevruz Cenalia in Fier and the footage of the perpetrator who shows no remorse, journalist Klodiana Lala listed the questions about the event.
Invited to "Open" on News 24, Lala stated that it is incompetence that the police set up the elite structure of RENEA and cannot arrest a 23-year-old. According to her, it should be investigated to see Azgan Mërnica's communications, and what attempts he has made to amnesty.
" It shows a failure of the RENEA elite forces. I don't know from where the video was distributed, but the family members during the negotiations ask for his life to be guaranteed. The way in which the motive of this event was attempted to be manipulated is serious and the state police have had several contradictions. Police said Nevruz Cenalia was wearing a police uniform but was not on duty.
The question is where was he going? There is a regulation of how it moves. It was attempted to be treated as an on-the-spot incident. In the footage of the moment he was killed, he shoots him in the head. The deceased tries to put his hand on the service pistol but he shoots him. It is beyond a banal quarrel. How is it possible that a 23-year-old man, father and brother booked for murder, moves armed near the Memorial Hospital, an area controlled by the police. All this makes me suspect that this is not a fight.
There, it should be investigated to see the communications of Azgan Mërnica, what attempts were made to amnesty his relatives and whether the police officer had any role. It is incompetence that the police set up the elite structure of RENEA and cannot arrest a 23-year-old. In the way we approach such events, we end up seeing God first. Justice should do its job and sign that life sentence without extending it twice. The police want a total shakedown. There is a hatred towards the Eagle forces. How do they behave? Are they trained? This shows a crumbling of state structures ," she said.
