The air mixed with the Saharan dust will have a much wider range in the Balkans and out somewhere as far as Poland, then with the movement of the cyclonic air mass, the massive Saharan particles will go towards Ukraine and southern Russia, while on Monday in evening and from Tuesday the atmosphere over our territories will begin to clear of the large Saharan dust.
We are on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslim believers, and in our years the atmosphere will be exactly as desired by many believers who experience this month of atmosphere from the deserts (of Asia) from where the Islamic Religion originates.
The synoptic situation favors a massive arrival of dust particles from the deserts of northern Africa to our territories.
In western Europe we have the very powerful cyclone which extends to the Mediterranean and the coast of northern Africa with a secondary cyclone, while the mother cyclone is located in the Atlantic between France and Great Britain.
The extent of the cyclonic impact to northern Africa will activate powerful air currents that come directly from northern Africa towards the Balkan Peninsula and in particular to our territories:
Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and the Presheva Valley.
The arrival of this air mass with a massive concentration of Saharan particles corresponds to the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, while on Monday there will also be rain which may initially be mixed with a lot of Saharan dust, while later after in the evening the rain covers all our territories and the clearing of the atmosphere begins.
In some places, there will be quite intense rainfall and downpours, while the temperatures will decrease after their increase on Sunday.
From Tuesday we will no longer have Saharan particles (or very few) and cloudy weather, sunny intervals and local rain showers are expected.
