Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu said that Italian Prime Minister Gorgia Meloni did not come to Vlora today by chance.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that Melonia is coming to the South of Albania, exactly on the day that the Fredi Beleri protest is taking place in Himare.
Spahiu further underlined that the protest and the arrival of Melon, in diplomatic language, means that Rome supports the government while Himara is in alliance with the Greek government.
"I would add that it is no coincidence that the visit of the Italian Prime Minister, Gorgia Meloni, takes place at the same time and in the same place more or less, where the protest for Beleri takes place at the same time and in the same place, with the presence of Greek representatives . This means that we have a slightly visible clash, but in diplomatic language, for geopolitical interests. The south of Albania today hosts representatives from Italy and representatives from Greece, to say that Rome supports the government and Himara is in alliance with the Greek government and the Albanian opposition. So today, at the same time, but in the same space, several kilometers apart, two important events are taking place ", he said.
