Lawyer Romeo Kara has spoken about the statements of former Prime Minister Berisha and his negative stances on Albania's progress and the path towards European membership.
He said that the development of reforms and the installation of impunity is very important for the country. Kara also stated that if former Prime Minister Berisha is not punished, according to him, there will be no standards in the country.
"If Berisha throws mud at the country, I have to point the finger at myself because he is one of the main factors of the problems. If it is the standard that the corrupt are not pursued by justice, that we do not install impunity and the rule of law, then I believe he has something to boast about. It is no wonder that this person who attacks his political opponent for standards even asks to cooperate.
The opposition has also blackened the achievements that could have been made in the country through the doors of Europe. But now one of the main standards required by Europe is the installation of justice and the continuation of reforms and I can say that Albania will not have a standard for him to be punished. Berisha has used Albania. Albanians need to wake up and his punishment is a standard that should be done in Albania , "said the lawyer.
