Lawyer Romeo Kara has said that Albanian gangs are the ones leading the drug trafficking network. He has shown that even in the SKY ECC application, 80 million messages were found in the Albanian language in relation to crime, the second most used language after English.

The lawyer said that Albania has been taken hostage by the gangs and that they have their connections in politics and business and that this fact also demotivates the work of the police.

"The gangs have taken Albania hostage. They have become masters of the country, business, politics. When a chief police officer ends up and dies without any sense, think of others, this is the demotivation of the police today," said the lawyer.

The lawyer also told the story of the murder of his friend, policeman Ibrahim Basha in Lazarat by criminal gangs.

"My former hero friend was killed with a bullet to the forehead in Lazarat. Ibrahim Basha with so much money in his pocket that it's a shame and makes you want to cry when you think about it and he was killed in vain by fasting. The other people did not teach him a lesson, but politics intervened with the police dome to arrest them. They should be buried there with bullets in their foreheads alike, to remind the bandits. But bandits have taken the country hostage, politics is afraid and servile to them", the lawyer told RTSH.
