We recall that the agreement signed in Rome between the Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama includes immigrants who depart from North Africa and are caught at sea by Italian ships. The agreement foresees the establishment of a point in Shengjin, where the procedures for verifying immigrants will be carried out and a center in Gjadër, where the refugees will be kept isolated, until the end of the procedures for accepting or not accepting asylum. The Italian government approved the agreement and the Constitutional Court of Albania also gave the "ok" to it.
