Serious moments were recorded this evening in front of the Parliament building, where during the opposition protest, a cameraman was engulfed in flames, as was his car.
According to the released footage, the cameraman was near the area of the clash between protesters and police forces, at the moment when pyrotechnics and fuel were thrown towards the police cordon. Under still unclear circumstances, he was touched by the flames, causing panic among those present.
The footage shows people around him immediately intervening to help him, attempting to put out the flames and remove him from the danger zone.
There is still no official information on the cameraman's health condition or the extent of the injuries he suffered.
The event took place in a tense situation, where the protest in front of the Parliament was accompanied by the throwing of Molotov cocktails, fireworks, and police intervention with tear gas and water to disperse the crowd.
