Analyst Frrok Çupi says that PD has brought about the "death" of the protest with its actions.
Invited to the "Special Report", the analyst emphasized that today's protest called by the opposition cannot be called a protest because it does not have a public purpose, but is done for the plight of Sali Berisha.
The analyst also said that the Freedom Party is not there and other parties are almost non-existent. Çupi said that another difference from the previous protests is the absence of the perpetrators of January 21, Berisha in prison, and Meta not being in Albania, which means that something is happening in the opposition, what has been said for years about that Blinken eventually came and said with this opposition enough is enough.
"The message is from one protest to another, and PD has its soul in the protest, not in the alternative. This is the style they have chosen, but this project has big changes from the previous ones. The first is a number that you can't really say is a protest. The second is a protest made by the party, but in reality there is no party. All parties are not there. Reestablishment is not a party, although it does not have a leader. The pulpit is not a party, it does not have a leader.
The Freedom Party is not there and the other parties are almost non-existent. The death of the protest comes from everything DP has done in years. Now it is incredible and can no longer call anyone. Another difference from the previous protests is the absence of the triggers of January 21, Berisha in prison, and Meta not being in Albania, which means that something is happening in the opposition, what has been said for years that Blinken finally came and said with this opposition enough is enough. So the very fact that there are so few people in the square means many things, but that the Albanian public, even though it has the parties of the heart, has its own country and strategic interests with its allies.
In this case, I can say that it does not even happen in distant or neighboring countries where many citizens do not want to know about relations with the great ally in Albania, there is a healthy political spirit, and there is an organic connection with what philosophy has said of the people themselves to see from the west.
If the protest really had a public purpose, not just against someone, had an objective, something that connects not all the people but a category of people, it would be a healthy protest and there would be many people. These people protest in the logo today or never. A very personal call from Berisha, protect me today because tomorrow is too late. All the political turbulence that has not been very big, but funny, goes around Berisha's balcony. Berisha should not be imprisoned. Low move for a statesman, as ridiculous as it is. It is no longer valid", said Çupi.
