Tirana police have arrested 40-year-old Elion Marku, who on Sunday morning crashed his vehicle into the steps of the Prime Minister's Office building and then kicked the institution's entrance door.
He has been charged with "Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty", "Destruction of Property", "Disturbance of Public Peace" and "Violation of Traffic Rules".
According to sources, Mark is suspected of suffering from mental health disorders, while during his statements he did not provide explanations for the motives for the incident.
Verifications revealed that the vehicle used in the incident belonged to a friend of his.
