An information received in "Pamphlet", introduces us to the scandal, or more precisely to the shame that carries the "smell" of the corrupt bargain of the leaders of the State Faculty of Law in Tirana, regarding the admissions of students in the second cycle of the academic year 2023- 2024.
The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law, for this academic year, has accepted 892 students for the integrated 2-year program of the second master's cycle; faculty where it is thought that they will have been accepted according to the legal criteria, with a high average grade of 8.
But according to the official list approved by the Dean's office, it turns out that the students who will be trained and graduate for the second cycle at the State Faculty of Law, were also accepted with an average grade of 6.1 in the first cycle of Bachelor education.
The scandal, the shame and degradation of the higher public educational institution that prepares young lawyers, deepens when you discover this fact: of the 892 students registered for the second cycle of the 2023-2024 academic year, it turns out that 685 of them have an average grade of 6.1 to in 6.9.
In this number with these low average grades, even lower than grade 6, there are students that the Faculty of Law itself has graduated in the first Bachelor's cycle from private universities of the "Chili" type, but among them there are deputies, ministers, directors and administrative officers who need a law degree for their "CV" and career.
Even those with an average grade of 6, as well as those with an average grade of 8, 9 and 10, will pay the financial fee set by the Faculty of Law and will receive "Law" diplomas with a scientific and professional master's degree according to the field in which they are registered.
We say that this mass admission with a low average, in the second cycle of the Faculty of Law, is a scandal and a shame, because it is the highest level of graduation, which presupposes that they will be lawyers who will professionally interpret the Criminal Code, the Civil Code , the Family Code, the Labor Code, relations with property, the state, tenders, rights, etc., etc.
However, even after 7 years of reform in justice and open negotiations, in the state educational institution of justice, it is being treated like the law trainees of poplars 30 years ago.
The staff of this faculty is consciously lowering and degrading the professional level of future lawyers, who will not only be employed as "law specialists" in the public administration, but will also attend the Magistrate's School for prosecutors and judges.
But this is what will happen, when we are a country where the Speaker of the Assembly is a former teacher with an average grade of 5.6, the prime minister, ministers and deputies do not publish diplomas, while 9 members of the vetting commission are lawyers with average grades of 5 and 6 and without working a day in justice. / Pamphlet
