Journalist Lavdrim Lita had a heated debate with journalist Roland Qafoku, as they discussed the state of the opposition in the country.
Lita told "A2 CNN" that the fault for the current situation is not the opposition, but the majority that has been governing for 12 years, which according to him must be held accountable for the problems.
He also added that Albanian citizens are consuming milk from China and meat imported from Brazil, as there are no longer even cows on the country's farms.
The debate between them:
Qafoku: They are happy as long as they give and take with each other, so much so that nothing else bothers them... Albania's main political force in politics is the opposition. Not in a negative sense.
Lita: The opposition is not the political problem. The opposition is not governing. The problem is the governance and the majority. You have a majority that approves the budget in 23 seconds. Sir, you have farmers who cannot receive EU funds because they have stolen them.
Qafoku: Well, maybe he'll find out...
Lita: Well, who is the Minister of Agriculture here to hold him accountable?
Qafoku: Okay, okay, we know this, calm down...
Lita: This is the majority, what are we discussing? Is the opposition to blame here?
Qafoku: So how is this fixed? Don't take my words for granted, I didn't say the opposition is the problem. I said it's an alternative.
Lita: The opposition problem comes to mind.
Qafoku: You're not making any discoveries here. The alternative is the opposition, which challenges the majority...
Lita: There are no more cows in this country, people are drinking Chinese powdered milk
Qafoku: Hey, you seem like you don't understand me.
Lita: The Minister of Agriculture should speak out about this. Brazil is eating meat, sir, and you don't understand it.
Qafoku: Okay, who said that the opposition is to blame, who said that?
Lita: And you!
