Prosecutors are afraid of threats and phone monitoring, no interest in SPAK

13 days after the opening of the competition for three vacancies in the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK has not yet applied for any prosecutor.

The reasons why no interest has been expressed to be part of SPAK are not yet known, while it is thought that the prosecutors may leave the application until the end, since the deadline is until October 16 at 24:00.

Currently SPAK has 17 commanding prosecutors and one appointed prosecutor. SPAK has continuously raised a request for the completion of the team, while KLP in a way admitted the guilt when it stated the reasons.

"We opened it late because of the new judicial map", said Bujar Sheshi, a member of the KLP. Doubts are that many prosecutors are afraid of that position. First, they will be under surveillance and monitoring, and second, they may fall prey to blackmail and threats.
