The Durrës Prosecution Office concludes its investigations and charges citizen AT with 'Fraud' with serious consequences, who sold apartments and commercial units without delivering them to the buyers, causing 2 million euros in damage.
The Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës has completed the investigations and has charged citizen AT with the criminal offense of 'Fraud' with serious consequences, provided for by article 143/3 for 25 cases and 199/a/4 of the Criminal Code, as well as the legal entity 'A C' sh.pk for the same criminal offenses.
Within the framework of the investigations conducted on criminal proceedings no. 1748, of 2022, the security measure 'Arrest in prison' provided for by Article 238 of the Criminal Code was imposed on this citizen, a measure which was executed on 14.01.2025 by the Dutch authorities, after this citizen was declared wanted on 08.04.2024.
From the investigations conducted by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, it resulted that citizen AT, administrator of the company "AC" sh.pk and the legal entity "AC" sh.pk, after being provided with a construction permit (uncleared due to non-payment of obligations to the Municipality of Durrës) for the construction of a multifunctional facility, have entered into entrepreneurial contracts with various persons in return for the respective payments.
At the conclusion of the investigation, it emerged that the defendant AT, through fraud, after having entered into contracts for the sale of apartments/commercial units/garages with the injured parties for objects that have not yet been delivered, even though they have been liquidated according to the contracts, caused them economic damage in the amount of 2,099,522 euros.
