The Special Court of First Instance has rejected another request by Ajola Xoxa. The wife of Mayor Erion Veliaj has objected to the searches carried out by the BKH in the premises that her defense considers to be a warehouse in the Sky Tower. Judge Erion Bani has rejected Ajola Xoxa's request.
The searches were conducted in January of this year, during which valuables were seized for the investigation. Among Xoxa's demands was the return of the seized cell phone, which was previously rejected by the court.
Judge Erjon Bani, who dismissed these appeals, is the same one who remanded Veliaj in custody, and who changed the measure from "house arrest" to "compulsory appearance", for the investigations that SPAK has launched against the couple and 6 businessmen associated with them.
