The secretary of legal affairs for the Democratic Party, Indrit Sefa, has given details on how the vetting for politicians is supposed to be done.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he clarified that a new form has already been thought of to investigate and verify the assets of politicians.
" The discussion about the vetting is an early request, it has changed shape since we had an ambiguity on the part of SPAK in the first proposal that it was decided as the body to do the vetting, but it did not take it over.
We have thought of a new form now, which is compatible with the institutions whose functional task is to control the wealth of public officials, in addition to this, the control of the figure and personality of the officials is now added. This is a very important additional element" , said Indrit Sefa.
