A few hours before the opposition holds its next protest against the Government, the area near the Albanian Parliament, where in the last two protests, protesters disembarked after being chased by the police, has also been cordoned off.
Iron barriers have been placed around the entire perimeter of the Parliament, creating a security zone that will keep protesters away, even if they move from the Prime Minister's Office to the Parliament today.

In the two national protests held so far, there have been clashes and incidents between protesters and police. Molotov cocktails and fireworks have been thrown at police, while riot police have responded with tear gas, water cannons and sometimes rubber batons in an attempt to disperse the crowds.
