The situation within the DP and the mobilization of opposition MPs in the opposition action was discussed in "Opinion" with the member of the National Council of the Democratic Party, Lisandre Hoxha.
Referring to the last protest of the opposition, Hoxha said that the police aimed to prosecute the leaders of the opposition and arrest the protesters.
"The police have been placed at the service of the narco-regime. This country has gone through dozens of interior ministers over the years, it's a shame that the last one is remembered for his exploits, the brutal behavior of the police against peaceful protesters. Even if we protest with flowers, you can be sure that the police will react in the same way", Hoxha emphasized.
He said that the political actions of the opposition have been fulfilled.
"We are looking for a caretaker government to lead the country to the May 11 elections", said Lisandre Hoxha.
Hoxha emphasized that it is not participation in the elections that prevents the opposition from winning, but the manner in which the Electoral Code is implemented.
"The Prime Minister considers the Electoral Code to be Chinese and what does he do, 3 months before the elections, issue a decision that will reward pensioners", said Hoxha.
According to him, if the Electoral Code is not implemented, the administration is misused, what is left for the PD to do in the elections. Hoxha said that he is convinced that the goal of a caretaker government for the elections will be achieved, where the best will then win.
"Rotation is blocked in Albania", he declared.
