Activist Arben Kola has commented on the movement of protesters towards Parliament during the 19th day of protests, calling it a warning to the government and politicians.
In his speech to the protesters, Kola said that the action taken was intended to show the strength of citizens and their role as sovereigns.
"I believe you understand how thieves get away, how the sovereign can easily take them and throw them in the trash, we are the sovereign."
"Today was just a warning and a small test for these thugs to understand that we are awake and vigilant every day, and we will wait for the moment, just like they did in Nepal and Ukraine, to throw them in the trash and sit back," Kola said to the protesters.
The statement was made during a protest held near the Parliament, where participants undertook a symbolic movement by surrounding the Parliament building. According to the organizers, the action aimed to send a message against the government and institutions that, according to them, do not represent the interests of citizens.
