"Why is Geron Xhafaj's voice not compared with the audio recording", Salianji's lawyer casts doubt on the investigation!

Redi Ramaj, the lawyer of MP Ervin Salianji, who was sentenced by the Court of Appeal to 1 year of imprisonment, considered the evidence used to convict the democratic MP to be fabricated.

Invited to the "Opinion" column on News24, Ramaj cast doubt on why the State Police or the Prosecutor's Office do not come out and declare that the voice in the audio recording is not Geron Xhafaj's.

" Let them say it, or let Geron Xhafaj come and say this is not my voice, let there be an expertise of the two voices and see if it is or not. This is where the political debate ends, let whoever is guilty be punished" , said Ramaj.

The lawyer said that an appeal will be made to the Supreme Court against the decision of the Appeal.

" We will fight the next battle in the Supreme Court to find justice, so that we don't have political decisions, but we have decisions based on evidence and facts. Political decisions harm the rule of law and justice reform ," said Ramaj.
