The former president, Bamir Topi, analyzed the behavior of the opposition and what a possible defeat in the elections means for the Democratic Party.

" The chance is always relative, it depends on what the political parties claim to achieve. If it was just that, we would have accepted it, but I think that Mr. Berisha has an extraordinary political experience. He knows better than anyone else that in the conditions the opposition is in, when this opposition is only fragmented, even some of them have just come out of the ranks. of the DP, I think it is an opposition in crisis. In these conditions, the problem is who will legally take control of the opposition. This is why many currents have emerged in the opposition and all of them are eliminated in the elections, more than the majority. from the one who is considered the leader of the opposition today.
I don't want to be cynical, there are two possibilities. First, he is conscious of what he says and the goal is to attract as many as possible. Because the achievement of some numbers is still relative in the Parliament. PD is in that state. Numbers are closed with closed lists.
