Journalist Andi Tela spoke about the recount of ballot boxes in Fier. He said that the MP who was declared the winner was asked to resign from the Socialist Party.
"Zegjineja became a TikTok character because she teased Gaz Bardhi. On May 11, she was declared the winner with an 11-vote difference with another socialist MP. The party decided that Zegjineja is needed more in Parliament than the other one. She told the other one who is resigning that we need her more," Tela told "TPZ".
Meanwhile, journalist Andi Bushati said that the case resembles the dismissal of the directors of the Municipality of Vlora. Bushati said that Zeqineja should have been elected on Rama's orders. According to him, those who claim that we live in a democracy should know that the government decides.
"Zegjine's case is not the personal fate of that bitch who has no importance. If you ask anyone who was involved in the campaign in Fier, they would say that Zeqine should have been elected on Rama's orders. The recount was done, Rama said that the other one should go, the one I decided should stay.
I saw the same scene today in the Municipality of Vlora. Those who claim that we live in a democracy should know that the local government and the central government are separate. The prime minister should not go there to dismiss the directors and have them sit there like fools.
"Why does massive theft continue at Bankers? Because in autocracy every control mechanism dies. There is no justice in things going to the end ," he said.
