Eni Kokomani is one of the Albanians who, after several years, decided to return to Albania from Iran after the war broke out. Invited to Greta Topjana's "Review" show on Euronews Albania, he revealed details of how he managed to leave Iran and what the security situation was like when he was in Kumit, where he had been living for years.
He stressed that he left Iran through the border to Turkey. Kokomani added that he left for security reasons as it was not known where there would be attacks, while emphasizing that on the first day an elementary school was attacked.
According to him, this attack showed that bombs could fall anywhere and civilians could be killed. As for the other Albanians, he said that some have returned and they are fine. According to him, there are also Albanians who have created families in Iran and that they cannot return.
" It's quite simple. You just need the will to return to Albania and you do. Yes, from Iran on the western border, there is a border with Turkey. You cross the land border and then you can continue by land or air from Turkey to Albania.
Now, in terms of security, it is not known where the bombs will fall. Now, the ones that attacked a girls' school on the first day, an elementary school, so if they attacked an elementary school with girls, then the bombs could fall anywhere.
